Privacy policy

Here you can find what data we process, for what purpose, who may receive it and what rights you have, including data processing related to Google Analytics 4.

Effective date: June 16, 2026

1. Controller

The controller of personal data is HAUER Solutions s.r.o., Kosolna 196, 919 01 Kosolna, Slovak Republic, Company ID 57 668 698, Tax ID 2122874974, registered in the Commercial Register of the District Court Trnava, section Sro, insert 63403/T.

Contact for privacy matters: info@hauersolutions.sk.

We have not appointed a data protection officer because our current processing scope does not create that obligation.

2. When this notice applies

This notice mainly applies to data processing when you visit the website, submit the contact form, continue with business or technical communication with us and use Google Analytics 4 if you consent to analytics cookies.

3. What data we process

  • identification data: full name and, where applicable, company name,
  • contact data: e-mail address and phone number,
  • communication content: subject line, enquiry text and related replies,
  • technical data related to the form and website: IP address, user-agent, source path of the page containing the form and the time the request was received,
  • settings stored in your browser: selected language and the stored cookie preference,
  • analytics data in Google Analytics 4: cookie identifiers, page views, scroll depth, outbound clicks, approximate location, device type, browser and traffic source.

In the current setup we do not use Google signals, remarketing or ad personalisation. The Google tag is configured only for basic website analytics.

4. Purposes and legal bases

  • handling your enquiry, pre-contract communication and preparing a proposed solution: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for ordinary B2B communication,
  • performing a concluded contract and project or technical communication: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR,
  • compliance with legal obligations, especially accounting and tax obligations: Article 6(1)(c) GDPR,
  • operating the service securely, protecting the website and preventing abuse of the contact form: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR,
  • remembering the selected language and stored cookie choice in your browser: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR,
  • measuring traffic, basic website usage analytics and evaluating content performance through Google Analytics 4: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, meaning your consent.

In the current configuration Google Analytics is not used to measure form submissions, internal search, video interactions or file downloads.

We do not rely on consent as the legal basis for handling a contact request itself. Before submission, however, we require confirmation that you have read this privacy notice.

Google ad-related consent parameters remain set to denied and Google signals are disabled, so this tag is not used for advertising or remarketing processing.

5. Retention period

  • contact enquiries and related communication: for the time required to handle the enquiry and related follow-up, typically no longer than 12 months unless a further contractual relationship arises,
  • contractual and project documentation: for the duration of the cooperation and afterwards according to applicable limitation and archiving periods,
  • accounting and tax records: for the period required by special legislation,
  • technical and security data: for the time necessary for diagnostics, service protection and incident handling,
  • data stored in your browser: until you delete local storage or change the setting yourself,
  • Google Analytics cookies: according to Google documentation, they are generally set for 2 years unless deleted earlier,
  • data in the Google Analytics interface: our GA4 property is configured to a retention period of 2 months.

6. Recipients or categories of recipients

We do not disclose data to random third parties. To the necessary extent, data may be processed by these recipient or processor categories:

  • hosting and infrastructure support providers for the website and servers,
  • the provider of our internal CRM or enquiry management system,
  • providers of e-mail and business communication services,
  • Google Ireland Limited and other Google group entities when analytics is enabled,
  • accounting, tax or legal advisors where necessary,
  • public authorities where required by law.

7. Transfers to third countries

We primarily aim to use solutions within the EU or EEA. With Google Analytics, however, cross-border processing outside the EU or EEA, including the United States, may occur. Google states that data from users in the EU, Switzerland and the United Kingdom is first collected via servers in the EU, Switzerland or the UK and that IP addresses from these regions are not logged or stored.

Where a transfer relies on the adequacy mechanism under the European Commission's EU-US Data Privacy Framework decision, personal data may flow on that basis. In other cases, appropriate safeguards under Articles 44 to 49 GDPR apply, especially standard contractual clauses or another relevant lawful transfer mechanism.

8. Your rights

  • the right of access to personal data,
  • the right to rectification of inaccurate or outdated data,
  • the right to erasure where GDPR conditions are met,
  • the right to restriction of processing,
  • the right to data portability where applicable,
  • the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests,
  • the right to withdraw analytics consent at any time,
  • the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

9. Supervisory authority

If you believe we process your data contrary to legal requirements, you may file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic.
